Trado is a platform built on Flow EVM specializing in trading and liquidity management.
It currently offers both spot and high-leverage derivatives perpetual trading.
What do I need to trade on Trado?
1. Go to their website at https://www.trado.oneΒ
β
2. Select Spot or Perp
3. Connect your Flow EVM wallet
3. Preparation of funds
Before trading on Trado, make sure you have $FLOW and either $USDC.e or $USDX on the FLOW EVM chain.
- $FLOW is needed for gas fees.
- $USDC.e or $USDX are used to exchange for $USDX (Exchange USD) for perpetual contract trading, purchasing liquidity, and staking
How to Trade Perp on Trado?
When trading perpetual contracts on Trado, you will have to use USDX (Trado Exchange USD) as margin instead of buying the digital tokens directly.
This simplifies the process and allows for more efficient trading.
1. Deposit
1.1 Deposit balance to Exchange Wallet: To do this, deposit stablecoins like $USDX or $USDC.e. from your Wallet to your Exchange Wallet.
β
1.2 Enter the amount, click "Confirm" button: Once the deposit is completed, your funds are now deposited in the Exchange Wallet.
β
β
Important: Depositing $USDC.e. into your Exchange Wallet will automatically convert it to USDX (Trado Exchange USD).Β
You can use these funds for contract trading and staking. Your assets are stored in Trado's smart contracts and can be withdrawn to your personal wallet.
2. Opening a Position
Trado Perp module supports two versions:Β
- Pro Mode: which operates on an order book system
- Simple Mode: which uses an AMM model.
Users can switch modes in the top right corner of the Perp page.
This tutorial will take Simple Mode as an example.
2.1 Select Market
Click on the drop-down menu "Perp" in the top left corner to select the token you want to open a position for, decide whether to open or close a position.
β
β
2.2 Choose Trading Leverage
Click the multiplier number at the top right corner of the contract interface to select the leverage level.
You can choose the leverage by moving the slider, or you can enter the desired leverage value directly.
Then click the "Confirm" button.
β
β
Important: Higher leverage increases potential profits but also increases the risk of liquidation.
2.3 Choose Order Type: Market or Limit
Traders need to choose between limit or market orders:
- Limit orders allow you to set price limits for buying or selling assets
- Market orders execute immediately at the best price availableΒ
β
- Important: When placing a market order, you can adjust the slippage, which determines the maximum price deviation during execution.Β
- The default slippage is set to 0.5%. To change it, click the Slippage Limit input box and enter your desired percentage.
3. Choose Trading Volume
Use the slider or enter your position size (Position size = Your USDX margin x Your leverage).
4. Place Orderβ
Decide whether to go long if you expect the token price to rise, or go short if you think it will fall.
Click "Confirm" in the pop-up and then confirm the transaction in your wallet.
β
β
5. Closing a Position
To close your unclosed contract orders, go to "Current Positions" and click the "Close" button.
Confirm in the pop-up and in your wallet to finalize. Select "Close All" to close all unclosed orders.
β
You can also close your position on the "CLOSE" page

Risk Warning
Counterparty Risk: The $TLP pool acts as a counterparty to traders, meaning trader profits can impact its value.
Token Risk: Tokens moving across chains rely on the security of the cross-chain bridge, and fixed-value tokens may face disconnection risks.
